Biog : Over the last decade your man Moneyshot's killer blend of amped-up, crowd-rocking music has involved flinging Liza Minnelli into High Contrast, Elvis Presley into Cutty Ranks, and DJ Shadow into The Goodies. "Basically anything goes," reckons the wily selector. Mixtapes are his game, and his award-winning efforts for Ninja Tune's epic Solid Steel radio shows, XFM and the BBC 1 Xtra have become the stuff of legend. Whether they push unearthed rock gems like his Mother's Ruin set, Broadway musicals like Showtune Dummies!! or a wild variety of dance floor funk like The Dischandler, each one has helped Moneyshot develop a strong following all over the globe. So much so that in 2008, as part of Ninja Tune’s 20th Anniversary celebrations he was asked to join the official ranks of the Solid Steel DJ crew joining other fresh faced recruits Boom Monk Ben & Cheeba as the next generation of genre smashing club DJs set to take over the globe. In the flesh he fuses his eclectic tastes with the undeniable skills he's honed rocking major UK festivals and clubs all over Europe as well as sharing the stage with the likes of Roots Manuva, Ozomatli, Public Enemy and DJ Yoda. Diverse to the end, he's as at home in a sweaty club as he is smashing huge parties for clients like Nokia, Adidas, T3 Magazine and G-Star Denim. Off the dance floor he's helmed an Xfm radio show, championing the finest new beats alongside classic cuts alongside his DJ brethren and partner in crime DJ Parker (Rocstar /Leisure).
